I'm just honestly at a loss for words today...my heart is just so broken for these families and firefighters. To see all the wonderful and supportive comments written on sites like Chron.com make me smile and then there are just flat out hateful comments that make me want to cry. One person had the nerve to say "This is what they get for being adrenaline junkies." I really hope that person NEVER needs a firefighter...I wonder if they would still be "adrenaline junkies" if they saved this persons life, child, and home?! People can be so ignorant sometimes. I appreciate these "adrenaline junkies" and I am so proud to be a firefighter's wife.
