Fallen Heroes
These two fallen firefighters are from my husband's fire station. I can't explain how I feel right now. My husband received a phone call around 3am with the news of his brothers. He left the house in a hurry and I haven't seen or talked to him since. This type of phone call is the phone call I hope and PRAY I am NEVER on the receiving end of. I haven't slept since he left. My mind has been racing with "what ifs?" I know this is Satan clouding my mind on this Holy day. I am just so heartbroken over this. I'm praying for the fallen heroes and their families and I am praying for the brothers of the Houston Fire Dept. They don't take their brotherhood lightly. Please pray for them!

Oddly enough, I read that this morning and immediately thought of you. I had no way of knowing where your hubs is stationed, so it wasn't like I could know that he knew these men. I am incredibly sorry to hear about this. I hope your husband is doing okay.
I hope and pray that you are never on the other end of that phone call.
